Drink them now.....lol
I can't ever wait
About 4 to 6 hours unless you used to much vodka

I was checking to see if I saw how long it took and I ran into this. It says to freeze them??

JELLO SHOTS

3 packages of Jello containing sugar
2 1/2 cups vodka
3 1/3 cups water

Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Slowly stir in the Jello until dissolved. Wait 3 minutes, then stir in the vodka.

Pour into individual shot-size cups and freeze.

You're in luck.

follow this basic recipe
1 6 ounce box of jello
2 cups hot water
1 cup of alcohol (put the alcohol in the freezer now)

pour jello shots into 2 ounce plastic cups or pour into a pan, the shallower the pan the faster they will set, but they won't be as easy to handle once cut.

you can also put the filled cups or pan into the freezer for a few minutes to help start the chill/set process. 15-20 minutes should do it. You should be able to get them set in a couple of hours easy. You don't want to freeze them so don't leave them in for 2 long.

Use ice to hurry the process. If it calls for 2 cups of water put in One cup of water and a tray of ice. In your case you are making infividual shots of jello with what Vodka? So use less water and add one ice cube per shot. It will speed up the time. Jello gels faster in cold....put all the shots in the freezer for about 10 min NO LONGER or they will feeze. Then transfer them to the fridge. yes about 2 to four hours.....but you can drink three of the shots in rapid succession.....put on loud music and begin dancing around and you will not care what the rest of the shots taste like.

The longer and wider the container, the faster it'll set. Shallow jello vs. deep jello.

Answering this as a bartender You follow the directions on the box as long as you did your mesurement correct. The way it goes is sub vodka for cold water. You still need to boil the hot water. (Don't ever boil vodka) If you want them to really jiggelly wait over night. vodka does not mix well so it may be a good idea to whisk your mix for an extra minute or two. Good Luck

yeah, 4 hours.
if its for jello shots it could probably be less time, they wont be as hard but its ok. or you could try throwing them in the freezer, ive done that before.
have fun ^^
