I need to create a OS, Better than Windows Vista. So that what I need to do. Any body can help me????????

Here are the things you need:
1. Computer Science and computer engineering degree.
2. Backgroung in programming languages.( C++ etc)
3. Many assistants to help you. ( You cant do it alone)
4. Many computers.
5. Financial assistance.
6. Creativity
7. Time ( It will take you the least months the most years)
You cant simply make your own OS because it is too hard. You need those things above. They did not just make windows xp out of imagination it required alot of thing more than what i just said.

If you can come up with an os where I can reach out my hand and move and manipulate things in the cyber enviornment you will make a big step into making a better os. also incorporating voice and ai would help. I think this is a long time down the road though.

Well its not a simple thing to write an OS. I started writing a simple OS kernel once which just displayed some text and then rebooted. It took me over 2 months to develop it.
If you want to develop an OS seriously then you will need an excellent background in Assembly language. So start learning assembly and start searching the net for tutorials and if you make a simple kernel then e-mail me. :)
