Jimmy Williams with their first pick isn't bad at all. He and DeAngelo Hall will make a lot of offensive coordinators loose sleep over the next couple of seasons as they continue to get better. But overall I don't think it was a great draft for them... Maybe they should have stayed on a defensive train of thought instead of picking up 4 other mediocre offensive players. They must be looking at making Shockley into a receiver, cause I doubt he will be a QB in the league if he even makes the roster at all. They already have Matt Schaub and Byran Randle. But maybe Norwood will work out if he can get consistant touches playing behind Dunn and Duckett.

No doubt about it. Atlanta helped themselves to some studs. Jimmy Williams and Deangelo Hall are back together again. Williams will be in the running for Defensive Rook of the year. Norwood will be a good backup to Dunn, but, watch out for him as a return man, however, the receiver out of Fresno State, is really going to be the primary return guy, trust me, the youngster can take it to the house. They also picked up atleast one O-lineman. The Falcons are going to make some noise this year. By the way, if Vick happens to go down, or, need a breather, no prob, they also picked up Georgia's QB, DJ Shockley. HE is the real deal. He can chuck it, or, tuck it, and go. He will score atleast 3 td's this year, even w/o starting. He'll either QB sneak one, or, line up as a slot receiver and either catch, or step back behind the line and throw one, and, he will throw one the traditional way, as a QB. The Falcons picks are solid! I'm a Texan fan, but, I tell ya' your team did a great job of drafting players.

Williams looks to be solid but he's a bit tall so can he change directions quickly at this level? If he is half the man D Hall is, they are set. Didn't like the unknown lineman in the 5th round and the 6th round receiver is questionable in terms of college production. Shockley is a work in progress...he's a gamer though...Love Norwood and the pickup of Abraham...both should have immediate impact.

Jimmy Williams is gonna be a solid corner, A great compiment to DeAngelo Hall. Other than that, not a bad draft, you got some good young guys.
