You should access the router at 192.168.1.1 not 192.168.10.1 There is a black reset button on the router if you must reset it. Usually you have to use like a paper clip to press the button down as it is recessed.

Are the little lights on the front on?

If not its probably blown and you must replace.

Most routers have a reset button in the back. Looks like a little hole with a button in the back. You would need to keep that pressed with like a paper clip end or similar for at least 30 seconds while the router is on. Then turn the router off and back on to reset to factory defaults.

Another comment, usually the default IP address for a router is 192.168.1.1 ... so test that before you reset the thing :)

In my case, when ever the power goes out and it is just the modem connected to the laptop, it only takes a few minutes to reset. With the router connected, the modem must be reset with all the nodes connected to it can manage the IP addresses as it resets and tries to make contact with the nearest server again, depending on the type of protocol you are using on your router.
