Yasmin, birth control, does it really work?

Okay, my best friend and I both are having problems on Yasmin, like... we are having higher depression and anger, also it is causing worse cramps... any one else have that problem or if you use something else can you tell us about it? thanks!

I'm on Yasmin, and it has been good for me. I went on it because I was having major cramps and blacking out the first day of my period. It has really helped. Now, I just get headaches the day before and of my period. So now I have to drink lots of water and take an ibuprofen and I feel normal. One of my friends took Yasmin and had to get off of it. She has been having trouble finding something that works for her and her body. I'd say either you haven't been on it long enough or it's just not right for your body. Bottom line is you need to get back to your practitioner and talk to her/him about it.

WELL...I got my 2 yr old while I was on Yasmin....
But my sister was also on Yasmin and had a lot of the problems you describe. She was depressed and angry...and she would have a lot of break-through bleeding. She stayed on yasmin for 7 months...thinking the side effects would go away. Finally she compained to the dr..who immediately changed her to another pill(dont know which one) And the side effect went away in the first 2 months...I would ask the dr about the side effects and see if there is anything that can be done!!

I was on Yasmin for 2 years and it was great! I had little/no cramps, regular cycles, decreased acne and weight loss. However no birth control pill is perfect for everyone. If Yasmin does not work for you, have your doctor put you on another pill, there are hundreds out there. Good luck!

OK birth control isn't a cure for not getting pregnant i just want u 2 b careful bcuz my mom was on birth control and i c I'm in this world!!

I don't require provision or feeding from them. God said: “I assuredly sent among every people a messenger with the command: Worship Allah and avoid worshipping false gods.” (16:36)
Prophet Abraham, for example, believed in One God, who had no partner. Anyone who holds a different understanding of God than this has contradicted the religion of Abraham and follows falsehood. God says in the Qur’an: “Those who reject the religion of Abraham make fools of themselves.” (2:130)
Prophet Jesus was reported in the Gospels to have said: “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only’.” (Luke 4:8)
Prophet Jacob also said (in the Qur'an) to his people: “Indeed, those which you worship besides Allah are only names that you and your forefathers have established, for which Allah has sent down no authority. The command belongs only to Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him. That is the right religion, but most people do not understand.” (12:40)

Real happiness and peace can be ONLY found in submitting to the commands of the Creator and the Sustainer of this world. God has said in the Qur’an: (Truly, in remembering God do hearts find rest.)
