Breakfast in bed with a sweet homemade card! Theres nothing better than showing daddy that you love him dearly. Do everything and anything that you can do show him you appreciate everything he does for you! A big, expensive gift won't mean as much to him as something small and personalized. Get him something that is meaningful to your relationship with him. For example: My dad is an avid tennis player. Ever since I was young, he would take me out to hit on the courts. Whe I was 14 years old, I made him these coupons that he could use on demand. They were really cute saying things like...Good for one free session of tennis with me! Ideas like this are adorable even if you are 25 years old. I'm sure your dad will appreciate something like that. I hope I got some ideas brewing for you! Good luck and Happy Father's Day!

I have seen all three ways at weddings. The father walks the daughter down the isle, both mother and father (usually if they are still married and the decision is mutual between all three) and then I have seen the mother walk the daughter down when the father has not been involved in the up-bringing or unfortunately has passed. So I think all three can be fine just depending on the situation. The way it sounds in your post your mother is doing it for selfish reasons or to get back at your dad. I do beleive that it is something that you cannot take away from a father that has been very involved despite a divorce as it is very important to him and usually the daughter also. I think the daughter/mother dance is kinda to the extreme. you need to have a heart-to-heart with your mom. Maybe you can have her do a reading...I think that would be a nice way to include her.

I have lots of great answers! It's you're job to pick!
*A puppet show
*A big card with all of your messages!
*A baseball cap? (only for dad's that like baseball)
*Good grades!
*Breackfast in bed
*A image of the holy family
*Pictures of you and you're dad having fun!
*Being nice for just a day!
*Helping in the lawn
There's more but I think those are enough! Phew! I wish I helped!

I don't think anybody can answer this better than YOURSELF!
Really, you know this man better than any of us! Surely you have an idea what he likes, right? If you know he likes to do home repairs... get him a gift card at Home Depot or something like that.
Good Luck

For my dad it would likely be bringing his mom and dad back to life, but I can't do that. He will have to settle for a movie, food, lotto tickets and the love of his wife and children.

It is a shame that we have to celebrate mothers day and fathers day. Every moment of our lives is for our parents..No gift is better to our parents than the thought that I have just mentioned. We need to love and care for them each and every moment.......

Get him something for one of his hobbies. If not, try something like a #1 Dad plaque. I like to make a handmade gift for my dad, when I can. Unless I can buy him something I know he really wants.
