I am 23, I have 4 children yes I said 4. I am semi athletic (if you call chasing children around all day and picking up after them and 2 days a week of exercise athletic). I do drink alchol like 2 nights a week, but not to excess. I get atleast 6 to 9 hours a sleep a night. I have heart pulpatations, I saw a doctor about this and she said lots of people get them and it is fine. My queston is- I have a slow heart beat I think... 50 beats a minute.... Is my heart going to stop, or is this even something to worry about?

I don't think there's anything to worry about however, watch your intake of the kinds of food you eat. And if you get to tired chasing the kids, make sure you take time for yourself thru out the day, not just at night. If you need a massage call me, I'm pretty good at it !!!
Good luck

dont worry about it my husbands is about that that just means your healthy 60 beats per minute is what they call normal my pulse is like 120 a minute the way my doctor told me the slower your heart the longer it lasts and the faster it beats the sooner it wares out. but keep in mind certain things like alcohol will slow down your heart rate also. i have a question how do you get that much sleep with all those kids i was lucky if i got 4 hours with my one

A lot of times this is caused by stress. You need to get further tests done to make sure it is not something more serious though - from a cardiologist.

Ask a doctor these questions and then get a second opinion from another doctor.

Does your doctor know your heartbeat is slow? Listen to your doctor and be totally honest with her. Have you checked your heartbeat after a heavy workout? That is something to let your doctor know.

SWEETIE I HAVE NO IDEA. I SAY GET A SECOND AND A THIRD OPINION. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FIND OUT WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON. THIS IS YOUR LIFE AND YOU NEED TO THINK ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN. GOOD LUCK AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

probably so. You might want to sell off your kids now and use the money to enjoy the rest of your life.
