When my son was a few weeks old,he woke at 1:00 A.M. He wasn't hungry, didn't need to be changed.wasn't gasy or anything, then as I was holding him a man shone his flashlight in our bedroom window.I woke my husband and we turned on all the lawn lights and called police.but the man would've broken into our house if I hadn't seen him right then.I've had several incidents like that with all my kids and other peoples kids.I just wondered if they sense things that we have stiffled somehow?

Kids have a sense of danger in certain people they meet I believe watch a small child's reaction to certain people if my children instinctively didn't like someone when they were little i always kept my distance from that person especially concerning my kids and it usually proved to be correct on the child's instinct or whatever you want to call it. Now for your incidents maybe they have a 6th sense or maybe these are just Gods way of looking out for you and your family he has angels everywhere though sometimes I think they go to sleep on the job but seems yours is doing a great job Good Luck and God Bless

I believe that we all do. Children as small as yours are not yet taught that the feelings they have are " nothing" and that all is fine. There is a reason that kids wake up at night and want to be held and with us. I believe that's why the transition of day into night is so hard for babies and small children, if you think about it that's when "colic" happens.

I have been somewhat "6th sensible" all my life and it drives my husband nuts. I will tell him something will turn out a certain and it does and he hates it. It happens all the time. I believe that both of my kids are the same way ( son 22 months and daughter 7 weeks). They are both very easy going, mellow children until the sun starts to set, then they are clingy and fussy and "colicky". I believe that they sense things and it can be fearful when they are too small to understand.

Even at my age I still get what I call a "bad vibe" when something weird is going to happen or I pass someone that gives me chills.

It's not all bad, my son will also randomly walk up to and hold out his arms amd hug women that he seems to feel a connection to. He's done it twice now. Once to a mother of 3 while we were in the store, and once to an elderly lady with a walker when we were at the hospital. They can feel when children are loved.

I believe that young children, just like animals, have a sixth sense. They haven't had the experiences we have to stifle it and see things totally at face value.

I believe that if a child senses something wrong in a person, then don't go near that person. I believe the same with dogs and sometimes cats. I had one dog that definitely was able to sense when someone was good or not. AND she was able to tell when a ghost was around. I believe that young kids can also see dead people/ghosts for the same reasons that they can sense other things.

Some say that children have a better sixth sense than adults because they do not let their brain do all the "thinking" for them, so to speak. Adults tend to rationalize everything, but children take things at face value. Personally, I absolutely believe children are blessed with a sixth sense.

Yes and seen and heard of it too.
My best friend cried when she was 2 years old, not knowing why the whole family was astonished, that was while her grandpa was palying backgammon and suddenly tilted his head aside.
They then found out, like 10 minutes later, that the man was dead already.

My niece who is 2-1/2 years old cries out loud whenever she seens women all covered in black(With even the face) or men with big beards.

OF COURSE HE DOES HAVE 6th SENSE!! in a way we can call it intuition etc. We all have it but with age our minds get clouded with unnecessary stuff so we block it (your sons ming is still pure and he can pick up many things)

The little one can quicker pick up strange and unfamiliar noises, smells etc.. is that not six sense?

You can get a book on it by Litany Burns "The Sixth Sense of Children : Nurturing Your Child's Intuitive Abilities " I have found a copy : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0451205251/104-1795912-1235943?v=glance&n=283155

YOU ARE SO LUCKY to SEE THAT. Good luck!!

Children or adults can have a sixth sense, well, apparently his sixth sense is not stiffled. Hopefully, he will continue with that strong power he has. Good for him. He probably inheritied it from someone in your, or your husband's family

some do....it's not a matter of being a child or an adult....ne1 can have a sixth sense. children don't over-analyze things and they accept things the way they are. basically they think freely and so yes...it's true that some children have a sixth sense

some people say yougn children can sense a dead person or danger. i totally believe that because when i was 4 years old alot of people in my family had cancer and we were at my nannys[who had ovarian cancer] and i was in the room across hers hours before she died. my uncle told me that he came in and saw me playing pattycake with no one. when he asked who i was playign with i replied "I'm playing with Frank". the only Frank in my family i know of thats dead is my dads dad and he died when my father was 12.
...my grandmother died that night too.

Yes, they do. I've seen little kids insist that their mothers were pregnant and the mother had no idea they were.
