my provider said they can do nothing because of its programing was done in Europe but i may be able to find out how to reprogram it online any help would be a helpfull

There is a way to fix it. All you have to do is add your carrier's web session in your phone.
Menu --> WebAccess -->Web Sessions --> New Entry

I can help you get the settings if you let me know who your carrier is

it has nothing to do with the sim card there are several sources online having to do with phome unlocking, some of the methods of unlocking, require a full reprograming of the phone...this might help, but it is risky...do a yahoo search for razr v3 unlock

Hey, I bought mine in Amsterdam about a year ago and had the same problem, i took mine to cingular and tryed to get them to fix it, but the said that since the phone is an unlocked european phone they couldnt do anything to help......best of luck though

ummm i dont know if this would work but i heard there are universal sim cards
