I'm glad you asked this question. Van Halen is way overrated. Frequently he makes a solo sound like noise. Jimmy Page is the man.

Jimmy Page. Led Zeppelin was able to play many varieties of songs. Pure rock and roll and love ballads. Jimmy Page was able to play extremely fast and could play many different ways and change in a second.

EVH is great, his playing has a bunch of tricks and fancy stuff but the way Jimmy Page played had alot of soul and feeling. Eddie doesn't have that.
