What email client are you trying to sync up? Hotmail or gmail or what?

You cant sync up yahoo because you have to have MAIL PLUS service and its a paid service. Yahoo sucks that way.

I can help you but I need to know what email server youre trying to hook up, but it cant be yahoo unless you actually have MAIL PLUS with them.

You cannot simply launch Outlook Express and hope to send emails straight away. It must be configured first so that it knows where to go and post that mail!!!

So launch OutLook. Go Tools_Accounts. Select Add Mail. Follow the prompts.

The info you need to supply:
Your Nick Name.

Your Email Address.

Your E-Mail Servers Names...this is where it's all happening. Type "mail.snailmail.com" in Incoming Mail (Pop3) - substitute snailmail with the name of your ISP. You didn't type in snailmail, I hope - LOL!

Type "mail.snailmail.com" in Outgoing Mail (SMTP) servers - substitute snailmail with the name of your ISP.

Your Login Name and Password.

ALL DONE. Now you can start sending emails.

It seems that the smtp and pop3 addresses given in your account are not correct.

Open outlook Then click on tools >> Accounts. From there double click on your account name, and from there see for smtp and pop3 addresses. make sure the addresses are typed correctly.

As mentioned above, you need to have Mail Plus if you want to do this with Yahoo! If you already have a premium mail service with them the proper setup instructions can be found at http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/#pop
