Mine is to be Mindful of everything you do and say in life. Now that sounds relatively easy until you realize that we are not put on this earth for self serving purposes even though we are wrapped up in the illusion that we must serve ourselves first. Learn to serve others and be mindful of how we treat them and then you begin the journey to spirituality.

"No person is one-dimensional."
No matter how well you think you know a person, there will always be factors that you will never see or understand.
I read this in Sophia Loren's autobiography many years ago, and it has always stuck with me. I've learned to be patient with strangers doing odd or rude things (maybe their spouse asked for a divorce that morning?), and even the people close to me. I know that even my loved ones will never know everything about me, so how could I know everything about them?

my motto is "It's the people who think they are normal that are trully the ones who are weird, therefore I am normal!" To the best of my knowledge it is completely original!

"I've been to paradise, but I've never been to me" - another song's lyrics (I don't remember the singer)

Revenge is a dish better served coldly.
Put on a happy face, despite what you really feel like.

"The unexamined life is not worth living." and i dont mean to kill yourself, i just mean to examine yourself and know the true YOU.

It is something my parents told me and that I learned in church the famous Golden Rule treat everyone like you would like to be treated. Have respect for yourself and others will follow suit.
