I have gone 110 miles an hour in my car but backed off I was afraid the computer would shut the car down. I have a 2004 Monte Carlo Intimidator SS. It's a limited edition, the Dale Earnhardt edition. If you're not familiar with that name he was a famous Nascar driver who is now deceased.

I was clocked by a cop that didn't catch me, when I beat a Cougar drag-racing. He pulled me over later that day to say he couldn't prove it was me, but somebody in a car that looked a LOT like mine ('77 Impala) was going 153 miles an hour a little while ago, and they'd better not get caught at it.

140 mph I was not the driver.It was in a 1970 Dodge Charger if you are old enough to remember this model it was a monster. I think it was a 483 or something close to that.Nice car a little large but at that time gasoline was 50
cents per gallon.My how things have changed.

I've gone faster on a motorcycle and on a mini rail we built, but the exact speed on those was undeterminably.
Oh, and I was clocked at 60 mph coming down Ward Avenue through Honolulu on a pair of roller skates.

I was going 125 mph and ran into a Hummer, rolled over 20 times and exploded in an inferno of twisted metal and burning tires. I think I died, but how can I be sure?
