I know that on Sunday, July 2nd, there will be fireworks over the Stratosphere tower from 9pm to 9:10pm. The best places to see this will be near the Sahara or the Hilton, where there's less light to interfere with the show. I'm planning to watch from the monorail platform at one of those hotels, whichever has the most unobstructed view. I haven't heard about July 4th fireworks, yet.

If you really want to see the fireworks, you should try on top of the Stratosphere Hotel Casino, The Eiffel Tower at Paris, The Ghost Bar at the Palms, or Club Rio at the Rio hotel and Casino. Make your reservation fast the seats go fast!!!
