When playing sports and swimming where your body is wet, you should be using waterproof sunscreen. If you use block-out sun block read the directions on how often you should apply it. On the water proof one I would apply it every hour.

That question depends on what the spf (sun proof factor) is on your sun block. The higher the spf the less frequently you have to reapply.

you should re-apply sun cream every 2 hours if you are swimming or sweating...
make sure you are fairly dry and clean before doing so...
always use the highest sun protection available...SPF30+ is good and also look for a suncream that protects against UV A and UV B rays...
the color of your skin has nothing to do with the damage that the sun does. my daughter is Australian/African-American and i ALWAYS put suncream on her before she plays outside, regardless of the strength of the sun...
i live in Far North Queensland, Australia where we have the highest instances of skin cancer in the world, we LOVE having fun in the sun and lots of people are lazy about suncream.
dont be one of them
ps....good question!

Get a waterproof kind but it usually says on the bottle how often. Manufactures want to you to use lots so you buy lots but it's good to apply it generously as often as you can.

Technically, every 15-30 minutes, depending on your lotion's SPF. Realistically, definitely every hour.

If your skin is like your avatar's I'd say probably every few hours or so. Maybe like, since you're tanish, every 4 to 5 to 6 hours...
