Gee I sure hope those men I danced with for the last 40+ years were real. They sure felt real!! Some just dance better than others, but women really like a good dancer.

Of course. If they were not real they did not exist then they did not dance. What is the question? Have you seen a man that is not real? or you are talking about a Vampire . . . they are not real but they dance pretty good - in the movies - of course.

Just lose up go with the music let in involve, forget the rest. . .

Yes,
My boyfriend had never danced and I had a hard time getting him to try (unless he had several drinks).
We looked up a local dance studio and took lessons. Now we do a seductive Tango, a romantic Waltz, a sexy Rumba. If you are looking to go clubbing, ask to learn swing, hustle and cha-cha. They work well, unless you like Latin clubs. Then focus on Mambo, Samba and Rumba.
Many studios are for kids or focus on ballet or tap. Look for one that does ballroom dancing. They offer private lessons. That is the best way to learn but can be expensive. Many will also offer group lessons. You don't learn as much and the class usually moves at the pace of the slowest student but they are cheap and fun.

Do real men dance?
Silly question.
Have you ever seen a real woman in the arms of someone waltzing her or doing the tango?

I am riveted to a great Tango Dancer or Flaminco Dancer when they perform!!!.. the atom bomb could drop and I would not notice!

Jose Greco- just Wonderful!
Antonio Banderas in Zorro!
Rudolf Nureyev on stage!
Tyrone Power in "Blood and Sand"
Arnold Swaarzenager in "True Lies"
Yul Brynner in "The King and I"
Gene Kelly..."American In Paris"!!!!
Donald O'Connor

Dancing is an essential part of Living!
A man who won't dance ain't really a man at all- just a bore!

One whom I regard as the prototype of a real man once told me that "the warrior is the greatest dancer." This was in reply to a question I asked him. I have overcome a long period of depression, of "nihilism", with the invention of a style I've called "Shiva-dancing". It was inspired by Jim Morrison's "around the campfire" dance. I even believe it is a forgotten, secret, or new Yogic technique, as kundalini is ignited like a fire by rubbing two "sticks", i.e., your two legs (especially your ankles and the "palms" of your feet) against each other. Energy waves started to shoot upward like lightning, I became aware of muscles I did not even know I possessed.

Now I hardly do that anymore; for, as Crowley says, "this Ecstasy is (so to say) the throe of Birth of the new faculty. It is surely natural for an observer to be startled, for the moment, by the discovery of a new Universe. Ananda [bliss] must be mastered manfully, not indulged as a vice in the manner of the Mystic! Samadhi [mystical union] must be clarified by Sila, by the stern virtue of constraint: and then appears the paradox that the new Law of the Mind has "come not to destroy but to fulfil" the old." [Little Essays toward Truth; Understanding.] My dancing has come not to destroy my old way of life, but to fulfill it. I now dance every day; for, as Nietzsche's Zarathustra says, "lost be the day to us in which a measure hath not been danced." [Of Old and New Tables, 23.]

dancing is a natural born instinct, for example look at babies, they arent taught to dance yet they bob their heads, and of course when standing, the move to the music, dont you sit in your car and shake you leg or tap you fingers? its an instinct, dancing has been a form of expression since the dawn of human existence. so ya, real men do dance.

A twinkling of the toes is indicative of a playful soul on the dance floor of existence. A gentle sway versus a fast stomp is the illustration of the delicate dance of life.
