There's two things it could be.

1: The fistula. It's like a little tube of healed skin that goes through your ear, that's what your earring is going into. If it just feels like a little knot inside your earlobe, that is perfectly normal; don't worry about it.

2: A keloid. It's a growth on the outside of the earlobe, that goes around your earring-hole. I've had lots of these, especially in cartilage piercings. Go to the store, look for something called Tea Tree Oil. It's usually over by the Hydrogen Peroxide, Witch Hazel, and rubbing alcohol and/or bandaids. It's like $4 for a bottle of it. Get it, dip some of it onto a Q-tip, then swab it all over the earring, your earring-hole and the bump. Do it like once or twice a day until it goes away (usually a week).

Oh. The Tea Tree Oil smells awful, but it works.

And one more thing, you might get better earrings too :]

I think the ball like things are cysts. A friend of mine has them. I don't think they're from the earrings, but it could be. The only way to get rid of something like that would to have them removed by your doctor, if they are cysts. Just be sure to wear gold plated, sterling silver or surgical steel earrings in the future.

I don't know how you can get rid of them, but to prevent them in the future, make sure you only wear NICKEL FREE earrings.

sweetie dont you worry, this is simply your cartiolidge, a little ball of it ends up in your ear after they pierce it with the gun. see if you know about this stuff, you are really supose to use the needle, not the gun. its the better choice
