If I had to choose between the two: smell!
Hygiene is a must... and if his cologne is overempowering my sense of smell and I can't quit thinking about a gasmask...its buhbye!

ok nice shoes are ok but who really cares we all know we have a pair of those comfortable piece of crap shoes, but if you just stink you better forget it. Come on who wants to see a fine guy and then him stink to high heaven. Smell. you gotta smell clean.

I hardly ever pay attention to a guy's shoes unless he starts talking about them for whatever reason. I want my man to smell good. B.O. is a major turn-off.

i dont give a crap what shoes a guy wear. hygeine is very important, so make sure you smell good.
