I just got back from LA right now and I found out that my hamster was dead. I tried everything to awaken her but she is dead. I am so sad because it was my fault! It was too hot and she didn't have any water. Can someone please say something to my hamster. Her name is Star and she is a Teddy Bear hamster. I am so sorry I did this to you Star. Please don't say she is just a hamster because she is way more than that. Thank you everbody. R.I.P Star. I am so sorry. = (

My son and I have a black bear hamster named Donatello. I want to say, on all of our behalf, that we are so sorry that Star has passed on to Hammie Heaven. She will be ok there. We have hamsters up there now and I believe they will all be great friends. They will hop up and down with their cute little hands in the air and do the Hampster Dance. I know this is hard for you. You may think this is silly but we always put our hamsters in a tupperware container and bury them under a tree and have a small funeral and my son does the eulogy. We will say a prayer for you both tonight. It will be ok. She forgives you.

Gee, I'm really sorry. I have had hamster's before and when the passed away, I would put it in a plastic container and bury it in the yard somewhere. If you didn't do that than you can always paint a rock with the name (Star) on it, and put it in the yard or your room. I think you should get another one. We always learn by our own mistakes, and we all make them. Time will heal dear.

We are gathered here today to morn the passing of our dear friend and companion Star. Star was a loving and supportive hamster that brought nothing but joy to all the lives she touched. She will certainly be missed, but I'm sure she would want us to carry on and remember the good times.

You had the best hamster and i know how it feels that a hamster died because i had 2 hamsters.So i feel sorry about you and star.

Is it possible she died of old age? If she was two or three years old, that is possible. Hamsters don't live very long lives. I'm sorry for your loss.
