Long hair in a ponytail.
No opentoed shoes, or shorts!
No food or drink! ever
Clean up spills immediatly!
Wear goggles & apron.
Know extinguishers & locations of showers & eye wash stations.
Wash your hands! then wash them again.
When you squeeze the test tube holder, it RELEASES!

Depends on the type of lab. Chem labs are different from physics labs are different from anatomy labs etc.
Some general guidelines
Wear shoes, not sandals
Always wear appropriate safety gear
Read the lab procedure the night before
No food or drink in the lab
Dont mess around in lab

Never try to put chemicals back into their stockroom bottle. This is so you won't contaminate the whole bottle. If you can't use it after pouring it, discard it.

keep test tubes pointed away from people
no horseplay
