07 eclipse comes in two chassis, one hard top version and the other a spyder, you can choose from two engine types the gs with 2.4 liter 4 cylinder 162 hp engine and the gt with a 3.8 liter V6 263 hp engine for the hard top and 260 hp for the spyder and it also comes with manual and sporttronic transmission, i personally dont like the eclipse since it's a front-wheel drive car, it tends to understeer and is a bit unstable, the eclipse does look great and i think this is the best looking eclipse ever especially the spyder, if you're looking for a mitsubishi my suggestion is to get a lancer instead of an eclipse, it's more reliable and easier to upgrade, my rating would be 6 coz im not totally impressed with the eclipse but im not saying it's a bad car, it's just that im not satisfied with what it can do.

I only test drove one and I liked some of it...Im about 5'11 ish and I was a bit uncomfortable ....they still have yet to fix that. So I'll give it a 6
Just as an alternative....if you are looking for a sporty car by Mitsubishi....you need to go back and test drive or even buy the Lancer Evo VIII or VIII MR....amazing car. Much better performance than the Eclipse and in the end you will be able to do more with it.

My brothers wife owns one, I drove it last week, it has alright pickup for a V6. Handling is pretty good, only thing I don't like, is the shocks, it ride kind of bumpy. Other than that, I like it, I give it a 7.

i would give it a 5 ive driven suv's with better pickup
