well i think a club will be awesome or a cool restaurant or if u're sure ur friends won't destroy anything, u can throw a cool party at your place. details...let's see...first of all u need space, music, food, the surprises shouldn't be just for you, they should be for the guests to, so prepare some cool contests (i mean something really funny) and the best way to throw a great party is to let your imagination control ur mind. good luck!

At 17 you should don the bunny slippers and jammies and have a sleepover. Do makeovers, talk about cute guys, watch chick flicks. That is that best kind of party you can have. And the memories will last a lifetime. Oh, and really make it super special by taking digital pictures and all of you can get together and build a scrapbook of the memories.
