mike gansey. once again i choose someone from my state but he should be the one to go first. he has one of the best basketball minds ever he has the ability to outplay the opponents. he is small but he was the top rebounder for wvu. he has a great ability to shoot the ball. on msnsportsnet.com wvus official website he said he will have worked out with 21 different teams come draft time and he says the teams were interested in him.

If historic previous has some thing to do with it, the Bulls are nicely customary for taking the "wonderful massive available" - and that is the Bulls choose this three hundred and sixty 5 days. If the Bulls keep the No. 9 p.c.., Spencer Hawes is in all probability going to be their determination - even with the Bulls previous lack of success with the "tremendous white wish" centers, a/ok/a Luc Longley and could Perdue. sturdy occupation backups, yet no longer quite starters. The Bulls have 2 straightforward needs - a submit scorer and a distinct theory of guards, some who say they choose a real aspect and some who say they choose a huge preserve to contend in the East. i have lengthy theorized that No. 9 and Nocioni (on an illustration & commerce) are going to be packaged for a submit scorer and a preserve. With Tyrus Thomas on board, the Bulls do not choose yet another quite athletic skill ahead, yet a scoring massive - and diverse the bigs are both "tremendous white hopes" or defensively orientated athletic sorts. till Conley's fee skyrocketed, I had Zach Randolph & Jarret Jack for No. 9 (to get Conley) and Nocioni. Now, the Bulls would look to commerce down - for a submit scorer and doubtless a p.c.. to take someone like Morris Almond from Rice, Roby from Colorado, or Alando Tucker from Wisconsin - a huge scoring 2 preserve who could also back up Deng on the three.

Leon Powe PF - Cal
This guy just dominated the Pac 10 tournament and the 2nd half of the season.
I'm shocked nobody picked him yet, but they are concerned about his knee. He'd be a great fit with Gasol and Miller. Plus he's already much bigger than the college kids. Watch a game with him and see abunch of skinny kids standing next to him. Think about how LBJ was able to play against the pros.
The Logo might reach for him.
I'd pick him over Pittsnoggle. He reminds me too much of Brian Cook.

Mike gansey
Few players in the draft have Gansey's basketball intelligence. He seldom makes bad plays or forces shots and, despite not being a great athlete, has a knack for getting his shot off. His smarts and quick release helped him shoot 55 percent from the floor as a senior and 43 percent from 3-point range, as he averaged 16.8 points per game and made scouts notice him. Gansey makes so many heady plays on the court that he stands out, seemingly involved in every key play for West Virginia. Gansey never seems to tire, despite how hard he plays diving after loose balls and sacrificing his body for rebounds and drives to the basket. He is an exceptional rebounder for his size and led West Virginia in rebounds last season with 5.7 per contest. Gansey is also a solid defender, despite his lack of foot speed. Anyone that plays against him has to be ready to scrap with him because he always gives extra effort. NBA insiders worry Gansey is too slow and small to make the positive impact he made in college. But all the intangibles he brings to the court cannot be ignored. He also needs to improve his free-throw shooting, as it dropped to 69 percent his senior year, continuing a downward trend after connecting on 70 percent his junior year and 83 percent as a sophomore. Because he naturally seems to do so many things right on the floor time and time again and can shoot well from the outside.

memphis has a pretty good defensive team...but they don't have enough reliable scoring options. all they have is gasol. eddie jones, battier, atkins, and the rest are too inconsistent so you never know what you're going to get. that's why they got swept in the playoffs.
so they take shannon brown. this guy can score in many ways. if he works on his dribbling, he can be pretty dangerous.
a PG is tempting but they don't need another short PG. the best ones left are lowry and rando and both don't bring much offense...mostly defense. and there are no centers left worth this pick.

Rajon Rondo
His size, speed and wing span make him an ideal potential stopper. Physically, he projects out like Devin Harris, and if he shares the same learning curve, he'd be a perfect fit as the Grizzlies' future point guard. There's lots of work to be done, as his shooting and ball-handling leave something to be desired

I think Dee Brown would fit very well in Memphis.
Give them a speedy drive n dish Point guard that would compliment Gasol very well.
Plus, I think that Brown may well be the most NBA ready point guard in the draft.

I think Memphis picks Aaron Gray here when their selection comes around and they will be pleased to see he is on the board.

Man you are killing me here. Just moved from MEM and hated seeing them get swept and really hate what I am about to say. Get rid of whoever it takes and get the biggest possible.
