I would say Archimedes. he was a philosopher, teacher, mathematician, architect, engineer, inventor, the list goes on. But he though outside the box, so to say. In the 2nd Punic War when his home city of Syracuse was under siege from the sea the king asked him could he do anything. He invented massive claws which just picked the Roman triremes straight out of the water and dropped them on the shore in little broken bits. Thats practical ingenuity on a grand and original scale. The Romans won and a soldier killed him but that soldier was sentenced to death for the killing of a brilliant mind.
My other suggestions are Socrates for original social thinker, Jesus for original psychological thinking and Buddha (Siddharta Guatama) for original spiritual thinker.

Hammurabi bc of his codes. It is suggested that these codes were the basis for the bible and the commandments, including the golden rule, treat others as you wish to be treated, it originated here. This seems to be a basis for the worlds moral codes and for our structure of laws. Baically a base on which society evolved.

stupid question from the place do you derive the perception that "with the intention to have a abdomen button, one might desire to have had an umbilical cord".
