Crummy. probably, but a lot is political diversion because Bush doesn't want the war on TV night after night while body bags and causalities pile up/ Immigration has been an issue forever. It isn't anything new. So why the fuss??? Again!!!!

Another reason may be that 93 journalist have lost their lives in Iraq! That is far more than were killed in Vietnam. Of course, their access was more limited in Vietnam!

We just buried another kid this morning. We have had 5 killed in the past 2 weeks.

This war was wrong from the start. You reap what you sow I guess!!

What you should do is watch Baghdad ER on HBO. This is a great documentary. It shows the brave men and women who are currently over there. What shook me to the core, was when one soldier was injured and had lost vision in his eye from an IED, he said he did not want to leave his friends behind. The best thing about this war in my eyes, is seeing that the American spirit of the Armed Forces is alive and well.

1. Because the media is in business to make money, not inform the citizenry. They make money by getting legislation passed that allows further conglomeration. Offending King George by giving Americans the facts on his war of choice isn't a good way to get media-friendly laws passed. 2. The media is owned by rich Republicans who profit from wars.

I don't agree with your cheerful assessment on how things are going. The only ones doing a crummy job are the folks who got us there in the first place.

... why is it that everyone that cries about the media are the ones that don't agree with what it's saying... I never heard any complaints about "liberal media" when they were covering every bad aspect of the the Clinton scandal 24/7?

Conservatives shoot the messenger, when they don't agree with the truth...
