At 14 you are still growing - don't put yourself at risk by going on a severe diet! You could cause all kinds of damage that will last a lifetime.

Without your height no one can answer your question. If you're concerned ask your doctor - or get a book from the library that has a height/weight index. And remember, everybody is different - we can't all look like skinny models and actresses.

How tall are you? And I think all of America should be aware of what they're eating, not to lose weight, but to have energy and to live a long life. If you think you are overweight, don't get overwhelmed by it. Walking really fast for JUST 15 MINUTES a day can do wonders if you are trying to be somewhat careful with what you eat. Give yourself a cheat day during the week.
Learn this now and your life will be so much easier. Diet pills are a multicazillion dollar industry because we were not taught early in life how important nutrition was and now we're overweight adults. Don't be one of those that spends hundreds of dollars on diet pills and then decides at 40 that she just needs to watch what she eats and exercise (like me!). I watched what I ate for years and then got discouraged because I couldn't lose as much as I wanted. Then, I started walking and the weight started falling off. Eating three meals a day is NOT good. 6 small meals, that's good. I am starving at dinner if I don't eat a snack after lunch so I pig out and stretch out my stomach right before bedtime. Not good! I wish you lots of luck in pursuing health in your life. I tell my daughter all the time "health is happiness" because when you feel like crap or feel like you look like crap, you just aren't happy. Screw what society says you should look like, eat right and exercise because it's the right thing to do.

It depends on how tall you are!

At 5'0", 100 pounds is considered a normal, healthy weight. For each inch over 5'0", you add 5 pounds to that weight. So, if you're 5'5", 125 is great!

(Keep in mind that these weights fall in the middle of "ranges." There are several pounds either way that are still considered healthy.)

If you are worried about your weight you can calculate your bmi (body mass intake) at this site: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/
Also, even if you are in the correct bmi range, which is good, you may not be in shape. Exercising for at least 30 minutes a day is healthy. Also following a structured, portioned controlled diet will help you a achieve a better lifestyle. You can check out http://mypyramid.gov/ to calculate a portion controlled diet for your current lifestyle. Learning about healthier foods will help you on a road to a healthy, successful life. Good Luck! (Consult a doctor if you have questions about your figure or eating habits.)

well if your tall, than dont worry, it balances out. But if you are short maybe you need to eat healther, healthier as to aviod eating disorders. Incorperating exercise and good sleep every night you may feel better.
You are still young though so, if u think u are fat.. it could be baby fat which i had for a long time. But thankfully it goes away with getting older.

It depends on how tall you are. When I was 14 I was about 5'10 and weighed 110 but was considered way to skinny then. My dad thought I was anorexic. As long as you eat healthy and excercise I wouldn't worry about it be happy with who you are.

Hi, i think you should not focus on your weight.. try to focus on your health and learning about staying healthy.

Depending on your body size and height, your weight is only and indicator.

Stay fit, stay healthy... that way, you will look good.

No one will be interested in you, if you are sickly and lack energy to have fun, even if you are skinny. Catch my point?

it really depends on how tall you are. Being 125 pounds isn't bad for you're age, but if you're around 5'11", you need to start eating

No.

Take a look in the mirror objectively - as though you are one of your friends. You may realize you are too critical with yourself. I am sure you are beautiful. Look at the beauty of yourself. Don't concentrate or focus on any one part, but look at the total you. Enjoy you.

You will only be fourteen once. Celebrate it!!!!!
