If you can find a company that wants to hire you, they may sponsor you for a work visa, which will lead to a SSN, but otherwise do not expect to get any job legally, much less a professional one, without a Green Card and SSN.

No. All employers (legal employers, that is) must file W-4 Forms with the Internal Revenue Service on all new employees. The form requires a social security number.

You cannot get a job in the USA anywhere without a social number unless you are paid cash

no. well, maybe....

No. You need a SS# to work LEGALLY, so taxes can be taken out and so you get credit for your your social security account.

Maybe. You might be able to find someone to hire you "under the table", which means your earnings are secret and aren't taxed. This is ILLEGAL, however.

To work in the USA, you have to have a social security number.
Some companies don't bother checking, in which case, I think
they should be penalized for that.

I don't know your status, but if you look into my history, I am anti-illegal immigrations.

Possibly there are some companies who are willing to risk their businesses by hiring undocumented adminstrative workers 'under the table'

But I doubt they'll post it here.

What kind of answer are you expecting?
