I suppose you can buy and sell leprechauns since they're not real people and are thereby subject to slavery. My guess is they're worth about as much as an Irish dwarf in a green tuxedo. However, a dwarf won't make you rich, and a real leprechaun will stab your eyes out, and eat your soul. They're mean. Haven't you seen the movie, "Leprechaun"?

A real leprechaun is worth nothing. They do not spend thier gold not do they share it. If you steal it you are said to be cursed and they get very angry. Unless you make him say his name then what gold he has is yours.
