Democrats and Republicans are BOTH to blame for these problems. And We the People are also to blame, because we continue to vote for Democrats and Republicans. Let's look at these problems one at a time.
Democrats and Republicans are BOTH to blame for the national debt. I'm sure you've heard the phrase "tax and spend Democrat." Granted this is slightly better than the "just plain spend Republican," but if you want to eliminate national debt, you have to build a party that won't spend.
Jobs are going overseas because labor is cheaper over there. It's cheaper there because of our minimum wage laws. Minimum wage laws are probably supported more by Democrats than by Republicans, but were voted into existence by both sides.
Senators and Representatives from both major parties voted to allow Bush to take military action against Iraq, thereby wasting billions in a useless war.
It should go without saying that there have been charges of corruption against BOTH Republicans and Democrats.
Looking to pin the blame on someone? Blame every American who ever voted for a Republican or a Democrat. Looking for a solution? Join the 3rd party of your choice.

Massive corruption against republicans? No Dem's? Billions spent in Iraq? You mean the world should have allowed Saddam Hussein to completely control the middle east without restraint from any country? Pretty hard to imagine a world without free access to the worlds most productive oil fields, a world which could have and likely would have been held hostage by the tyranny of Hussein.
Maybe the destruction of America comes from the lack of morality of the last 30 years which is decaying our society. It isn't about money, it is mostly about ethics and the courage to call evil by it's name. Political correctness might also be something you should consider as a possible cause of the destruction of our country.

The whole government is corrupt under this leadership, and yes, Bush and Cheney are the leaders, therefore the guilty ones. I blame them and the American people who voted for them, and the sad thing is that the people didn't learn anything from their first term. Oh well, it won't be for too much longer and maybe the next President will be able to straighten out the mess we are in, if it isn't too late! When will people stop trying to blame Clinton for this mess? He has been out of office for years. Sorry, time to lay the blame on the ones making these dumb decisions! And it ain't Clinton!! Unless he has changed his looks an awful lot!

Another ignorant. Why do people seriously not think through things before going with the crowd?
Jobs are being created everyday, read the newspaper. Since when do we have to provide healthcare for all citizens? Talk about communism. Why should I, a hard working, poor student, pay someone else's welfare? I don't have enough money to pay my own bills, and yet out of the 16k I made last year, $4,ooo was taken out in taxes.. I got 200 back. Much of that pays out to people who are NOT working. The liberal democrats are the ones responsible for putting THOSE programs into place.

It's the American citizens who are responsible. We elect those who will hopefully put our best interest first. I can see we are getting very little of that from either party.
National debt out of control...congress controls the spending. Republicans are no longer conservative and are beha ving more like liberals with regards to finances.
Jobs overseas...this has been going on for 20 years...blame both parties.
healthcare...illegals are using the facilities and technology for free and burdening the system. Which party is active on this?
Corruption. There are several corrupt politicians in both camps. Just do the resaerch. Bottom line is...who is looking out for your best interest? Dems? Reps? Neither are showing me much.

Do any of you actually know how government works? apparently not... Republicans have a majority and the presidency... that means that they set and approve the agenda... Democrats are just sitting there complaining while the Republicans do everything (or nothing)...
You may as well be blaming the space aliens, because they have just as much to do with what has happened in the past 6 years as the Democrats (on a national level)
THIS IS OBVIOUSLY WHY REPUBLICANS ARE STILL IN CONTROL.. .THEY COULD SCREW UP THE WORLD AND BLAME LIBERALS AND THEIR FOLLOWERS ARE FAR TOO STUPID TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE... THANK YOU FOR PROVING THAT ON HERE

I don't favor Rep.s or Dem.s, but I do know that the freeways are suddenly being widened, in California since Arnold has been in office.
If people don't have the skills to get employment that provides health care, that's is their fault. If their job is exported overseas,
because
they weren't competetive, if they don't hold the politicians accountable, not my fault.
Massive corruption? No bill passes unless both sides get PORK.
If you think the Dem.s are looking
out for American Jobs? Think again. The Dem.s are Pro Union. In California a lot of union members are illegals. Does that sound right?
The best you can do is make yourself valuable through training and being efficient at your work. If others are losing out because
of laziness, not my problem.
The world does not owe you a living. You have to earn it.

To all the yammering neocons out there flapping your gums & blaming the liberals:
Who the hell do you think has been in power for the past several years?
The Republicans, entrenched in their culture of corruption, have been less interested in the average American citizen than they have in protecting the corporate interests who line their bank accounts with gold.
That's why Bush is so eager to dismantle the Clean Air Act, and Pombo wants to do away with the Endangered Species Act, and the White House has its head stuck so far down in the oil fields of denial, that they have the audacity to claim that global warming is a myth.
They're more interested in Halliburton's profits than they are the citizens of New Orleans. They care more about Exxon having the right to drill for oil in ANWR than they are in holding them accountable for such things as price gouging, or cleaning up that nasty little Exxon-Valdez oil spillage mess, or making sure our wilderness areas survive exploitation.
And Bush apparently thinks that the best way to prevent forest fires is to cut down all the trees.
Thousands of innocent men, women & children have died at the hands of this administration's failed foreign policies.
The Republicans' answer? Let's attack same-sex marriage!
What I want to know is where the hell is bin Laden?
Why would you allow your children to suffer from high mercury levels?
What's going to happen when North America becomes a dust bowl? Or if another hurricane devastates the southland?
Why did you trick our senior citizens with the Medicare bill that served to benefit the insurance & pharmaceutical industries at their expense?
And why the hell are you remaining tight-lipped over Ann Coulter's recent foaming at the mouth hatefulness?
I really think the Republicans are starting to lose it.

Dick Cheney did an excellent interest as vp and the worst administration in recent heritage replaced into Carter's (although Obama is heading in the right direction to conquer that). The GOP is in disarray for distinctive causes, yet none could do with Cheney, and that i very a lot doubt you switched from being a registered Republican to a registered Democrat (as adverse to easily going from being a registered Republican to a conservative independent). effective attempt for a liberal, although.

Give me a break! Uninformed opinions like yours are a reason why we should limit voting to people with IQs above the average cow's. Please look further than your TV and Prius/Suburu/Vovlo hippie bumper sticker to develop an opinion. I know, "Bush Lied People Died", "I break for butterflies", "Visualize world peace", and "arms are for hugging" make you feel really good about yourself, but the truth is your own ignorance is the reason nothing good is ever accomplished.
