Thrift you usually get no money or very little. Pwan shop has a return policy on the items you bring in. Thrifts stores usually accepts goods for free and you get a tax write off form. Both can save you money if you are a bargain shopper. I love Good will and I buy electronics from there all the time. Watch HGTV.com and most people buy second hand now a days even the RICH!!! Hope this helped you out.

A thrift store is similar to The Goodwill or Salvation Army, except the merchandise is better and a little more expensive.

A pawn shop is where you take your jewelry, rings, watches, etc., to "pawn it" - that is to get money for it.

The "pawn shop," will keep your jewelry (or whatever you pawn) until you pay the money he loaned you.

If you don't pay the money when it is due, he will sell your things to anyone that wants to buy it

A Pawn Shop makes you an offer you can accept or refuse. If you don't like the offer then go elsewhere.

Better yet! DON'T LET YOURSELF GET INTO THE POSITION OF HAVING TO PAWN YOUR STUFF.
