WOMEN CAN RE CONCEIVE AT 4WEEKS post DELIVERY
As mad as it seems your body can reconcieve almost at the next cycle
YOUR PLACENTAL SITE NEEDS TO HEAL
the wound on the inside of your uterus where the placenta was is healing this can take up to 6 weeks in some ladies but when your vaginal loss from the birth has settled you are physically speaking ready to go again.
EMOTIONALLY ITS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE
everyone mourns and heals at a different pace
When i lost my daughter Ellie in the second trimester i had to go back to work within 4 weeks. Im a midwife and i work in a labour ward, this was bloody hard but it was part of my healing.
Most women say to me i just want to go out and get pregnant againg strait away
Prepare yourself talk to your friends about your loss greive and communicate but dont give up or be afraid
TALK TO YOUR OB/GYN RE CERVICAL SUTURE
talk to your doctor about planning an early cervical suture
plan to massively reduce your activity to help you get through to a viable age
GOOD LUCK

Hi,
First of all im really sorry for your loss and I completely understand how you feel. I lost my child at 26 weeks (not sure if it was due to incompetent cervix or preterm labor). I was asked to wait for atleast 6 months before I could try again. My doctor told me, usually when the miscarriage is in the 1st trimester, one can start trying after 2 cycles, but usually this is considered a delivery, and recommended waiting period is 6 months. But again it is different for different people. Im not a gynae or a doctor, but I feel you should give your body enough time to heal, so that you can give be strong enough to give birth again. Im also very scared to try again. Does anyone know if you can ask the doctor to give you stitches after you get pregnant. Any information will be of great help. Thank you and all the best to all the ladies with their pregnancies.

Two things need to heal here- the body and the soul.
For the body, so long your previous pregnancy wasn't complicated by anemia, serious infection, etc, you are ready to get pregnant as soon as two weeks following a delivery.
For the soul, its entirely up to you. Some people take longer to recover emotionally.
Talk to your doctor and your partner. If both say ok, ask yourself really really hard - whether you are ready for another go - then go for it.
Good luck

I gave birth to my son at 22 weeks and was advised to wait two full cycles(2 normal periods)...
I did this and conveived after the second one..
This led to a miscarriage though at 9 weeks..
I am TTC again but I am just taking each day as it comes and not really charting my days like I did after I lost my son!
I am really sorry for your loss and I wish you the best of luck :)

Sorry to hear that luv,
If your doc says your body can take, than it can, but can your heart and your mind take it??
I say wait, mourn, make peace with everything, and gain strength.
The docs will follow you closer now 'cause you're high risk, so when you're ready, both physically and emotionally, things will go better this time.
I hope you get the child it sound like you really want.

I am so sorry for your loss. Make sure you have had enough time to heal emotionally from this before you try again. Let yourself grieve, and then since your dr has given you the physical green light, go for it.

I have had two mis carriges and two c Sections. All I can tell you that you body fully recovers from six month to a year. So if you are planing to get pregnant again it is best to wait a year.
