Well, we have determined what to call good and bad, there is no scientific means of knowing which is which, let alone which there is more of in the world. All you can do is live your life to the highest standards you hold. Don't sink down to other people's levels, and try to make the world a better place.

We are more informed these days than ever before. Information from media are easily available.
We are also more aware of what is right and what is wrong.
Having said that, the media sell well using 'scare' or bad news sell better than good. Imagine if USA win the soccer world cup against Brazil.. what will the newspaper say? USA win or Brazil Lost? Which will sell more?
We prefer to look at bad side of life, so that we can protect ourself against it.. so to answer your question... yes it seem that there are more bad than good.
So change your perception, and you will know that the sun will shine again tomorrow, and good news will follow, somehow.

I think there is more good than bad in this world. Just look to all the help that people gave during the last hurricanes, the tsunami and the earthquakes. That has to show you that there is good in this world.

This is a subjective question and will vary from person to person and sometimes from day to day for the same person. The only real way to answer this correctly is to put inquire into yourself and determine if you are filled more negatively or more positively. The world is merely a reflection of yourself. If you are inclined toward negativity, or "bad", then your answer is that the world is filled with more "bad". If you wish to change this, change yourself.

The good farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr outweighs the bad. Look at one measure (in the west). Life expectancy is mid/late 70s. 100 years ago, it was decades less.
It's always easier to destroy than to create, so wicked acts of destruction abound, but take so little to pull off; while acts of creation (the good), take real effort -- but have wild payoffs. Keep it in perspective.

It seems in this day and age that there is more bad, but there is more good by far. Bad seems prevailant because it is so astonishing and so shocking and so sensless making it stand out. Thank you for the nice comments BTW!!!! Good luck and good for you in spreading the word!

Right now seems pretty bad, so much intolerance, everyone seems to hate everyone different than themselves, and all the people with power and money don't want to share. In other words, we're acting human.

Even if there is more evil than good in this world, good is more powerful.

Definitely more bad. I'm in law enforcement, and I usually see more bad in one shift than I see good.

in the humble words of that one guy that someone will remind me of his name, "Am I evil? Yes I am?......" or was he saying samhain? Whatever it was we all know he is only one of the Millions of people born to die evil. The more people on this planet there are of course more evils. So it multiplies by the nanosecond and your very thoughts of killing me for writting a long winded response....hey thats evil dude, you should that...
