This only happens around 8 times per year randomly. What happens is that I get this strange sensation like blood or a liquid is running down the side of my head when I turn to look at something sorta fast. It's a little painful, usually I have to close my eyes or just keep my head still until the feeling goes away. It lasts around 30 seconds but it's really sucky. Does anyone else have this? I am little concerned because my mother died of a brain aneurysm in her mid-30's. Are aneurysm's passed on?

I'm not really turning my head all that fast. It's almost like I could have a nerve that sometimes gets pinched if I turn my head at the right angle.

The first thing you should be doing is go and see a doctor straight away and tell him or her the same what you have said on here. Any health problems should be discussed with a qualified doctor who will have the best & most accurate answers, problems occurring in your head ia a very complex subject even for a doctor. Even if anyone on here would give you an answer or think they have the answer you still would need to go to see a doctor anyway regardless to get the treatment or medicine. They may even refer you to have a brain scan otherwise called an MRI scan to see what's going on in there. That's the best advise that I can give you to be honest other then don't worry explaining this to your Doctor. No one is perfect and it does not mean you have a mental illness in any way. Good luck

Wel, I am not sure. Maybe you are just turning your head too fast? I think it would be best to talk to someone more qualified, like a Dr

Get a brain scan. Don't sound like anything to play around with. Could be a tumor.

I guess you should check it out in your hospital maybe your doctor can help and I guess you should stop turning your head to fast.

they can be hereditary...I'd go to the doctor, just to be safe...It's likely nothing though. Sometimes I turn my head really fast and it incapacitates me for a few minutes...I call it mild whiplash.

I think maybe you should go to your doctor and tell him/her what happens, etc, and that you mother died of the aneurysm.
Sorry, I don't know if they're passed on. :(
