Do you think it is safe in South Africa? I can not get a desend job because I'm white. My dad lost his job because they had to get the numbers right (more black people that white ones) I got robbed 4 times and when I reported it, the police asked me "what do you want us to do?..." Our ex vise-persident Jacob Zuma said yes to raping his niece and having sex with a family member, taking a shower after having sex prevent AIDS and its a womans 'job' to have sex... the list justs go on. He is scott free nothing happened to him. He is as free as a bird! Tell me you thoughts... (I'm no racist some of my best and closes friends are black and brown even they think it's wrong)

I have heard bits and pieces of the story about the ex president. I think it is insane that things like this is allowed to go on in other parts of the world. I live in the US and everything here isn't perfect but our ex president about got in alot of trouble for getting a B.J. from someone besides his wife. They are things that go on in Africa I really don't understand. I think they are wrong and will never travel to this part of the world because of lack of people being prosecuted for crime they commit. I'm not telling you that you should leave, this is something you need to decide for your self. If you don't fill safe you need to leave. Safe should be you main concern. It don't look like you are in a very safe place.

U know what. U don't have to live in a place where ur life is threatened or insecure, just because thats where u were born. if ur more comfortable where u are, don't leave! so many people live in worse conditions but haven't got the chance of escaping. ur so lucky. think about that.
Again that just makes u a coward, running from the reality. In other words you can commit and dedicate urself to changing this. for example joining humanterian groups, becomin' a politician and showin' others a good example, or even becomin' a teacher and educating others, like on the AIDS issues. I know u think, u alone can make no diffrence but it will make u proud.
May be u may not know that SouthAfrica is among the best countries in Africa in terms of economy, country stability and development. Atleast ur talking of theft, politician mess and jobs. Other countries in same continent, thousands of its citizen die of starving for food-Kenya, war-in sudan(especially darfur). corruption. I am simply saying that "no place on earth is perfect, no place on earth is heaven" but we can all make it a better place!

i have been to Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Tanzania so i am going to easily answer kind my thoughts. In Kenya all of us warned us how risky Nairobi is so that you quite opt to be careful there; besides the indisputable fact that, safari journeys are brilliant! Ghana is amazingly probability-free, lived there for 5 years and under no circumstances some thing ever got here about... (do exactly not bypass walking round in the technique the evening speaking on your telephone or some thing like that) South Africa type of risky in case you bypass to the great cities, Tanzania comes close to to Kenya. do not study about Uganda.

It absolutely is not safe in South Africa, especially for whites. The country is going the way of Zimbabwe with a break down in the rule of law. As you pointed out, the blacks who are in charge are all violent, depraved lunatics.

No, heard really bad thing about it. Recently, I've met someone from South Africa during a transit in Greece, he's a 16 years old jew travelling to Isarael and his dad was doing business in S. Africa. I asked him your question and he said yes would go back anytime as his father's business was doing real well. Asked, he said his father is in security guard business, and the electronic security system!!! No, won't blame you not going back there.

Sounds like your ex-vise president is a wack-job. He sounds like a complete freak. That isn't fair. My friend is also black and I am close to her. But there it shows that not just blacks get discrimination but everyone! Asian, black, white, hispanic, everyone! I would move from that trashy place and try to make a new life, better life somewhere else! Good luck!

Im black but what's wrong is wrong. Dont go back. They must be corrupt. You could be exaggerating and trying to get people mad at Africa. I bet you would love to see the US bomb Africa. I think you are racist. You're just being smart about it. You're trying to instill fear in us about Africa and fear can cause hate and hate can cause war. Black people like me exist and we're smart enough to out smart you and wipe out you white *******

I think in these conditions, it is very dangerous to be in south Africa. You should move to Europe or north American countries.

Well it depends on other people's experiences. But your experience, it is not safe there. It is good that you got out of that bad situation. I don't see why you would go back.
