I wanted Katharine to win.

Taylor is a good entertainer, but Katharine has a better voice. And when I'm LISTENING to music, I don't care how well they can entertain, I care about how they SOUND.
Chris has a great voice as well, but it's not the kind of voice I really like that much...
Paris was definitely one of my faves as well...She had a great voice, and she was an entertainer.

You know, American Idol used to be entertainment worth watching. But it's getting old now. Taylor Hicks is alright, but he doesn't represent what an "American Idol" is supposed to look like. Kathrine McPhee would have been a better choice. She had the talent to compete with Kelly Clarkson if given half the chance.
She will have a CD after Taylor gets his out. Hope it becomes successful. She just won't get all the "hype" he's already gotten.

Taylor deserved to win! So what he couldn't dance. But he sure could sing. He knew how to keep the crowd entertained and he hit lots of notes without turning 'red faced' or 'nerves poking through his neck' like Chris and Elliott. He sang from his gut, not his throat.

I thought Mandesa should have won or Chris. Taylor has personality but he is not as talented

I think Kat has the best voice, but Chris is the best overall. By the way, Chris turned down the Fuel offer right away. He said he wants to do his own thing.

Kath became no longer so good she had no degree presence and Taylor turned right into a more effective positive entertainer, yet the following is the deal who truly cares who received first because they both are set and getting record deals

I don't think that Taylor deserved to win because he's looks so old and doesn't really have the"it factor" according to Simon Cowell i think , To me, Paris Bennet was the best

Sure why not! , it's a great story - i mean WHO in the start would've thought he would make it to the finals even?! , i know i didn't. But people like him and voted that way, and i'm ok with that, so i guess my answer is YES , he deserved to win.

I agree....There were better singers then Taylor..I think it should have been Chris or Elliot...but I also did like Taylor, maybe the voters felt sorry for him?!
