Like in my town or like back in school, people find people in the town they've lived in their entire lives but what are the chances that the ONE will be right there...I mean of course it could happen and does but what about the other 6 billion people in the world?

I think "the one" is the stuff of romance novels and films. Finding someone that is kind, that you trust and feel safe with and that you can love is possible anywhere. My husband lived about 7 miles away from me. I was totally unimpressed the night that I met him, but can still remember the exact moment I fell for him. The bunch that we hung out with used to wrestle, my shirt was pushed up by accident and he simply reached out & pulled it down. I was floored, what guy does that? Made me take a second look. We were married for 9 years, 2 lovely children before he passed away suddenly at 31 years old. That man was my "real one".

God puts you in just the right circumstances to meet the "one" when the time is right. Whether he/she is practically in your back yard, across the country, or around the world, your paths will cross sooner or later. When someone is from the same town as you are though, you will share similar memories/experiences, and may have more of a chance to develop a relationship. Overall, this is more likely than meeting your true love on vacation or something like that.

I met the love of my life right up the street when my car stopped running and i had to take the night off of work and i decided to go up to the pizzeria to have a beer and a salad. There he was! He lived in the next town for years and years and we never ever met! This is an incredibly small part of California and why I never met him before is a wonder to me but i must say it was a wonderful thing to have him when i did because he is my husband, best friend and the sweetest man Ive ever known all rolled up into one! I'm very blessed. It could happen to you very easily. Do not ever discount fate!

Well, we both ended up moving to the same SMALL texas town. I went to work in a chinese restaurant and he used to go everyday. The first time I saw him I was hooked. And I was ENGAGED to be married to someone else!!! Well, anyway long story short. We are married with two beautiful children! And trust me he is the one!! Knows exactly what to do to please me, if you know what I mean!

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
Better stay put. You'll find that happiness lies right under your eyes, back in your own back yard. (Ole rockin' chair's got muh!)

Looks like you don't believe in love!

Actually, I think that many people think they are marrying THE ONE, but they just don't know any better. They're just temporarily blind - that is why there is so much divorce out there!

they are, and its you, although many people say opposite attract, people are looking for themselves in people around them, and people they choose to be in a relationship with, love yourself, and your soulmate will find you, because he/she will be searching for you and that means all of you, flaws and all, I define that as perfection within the HUMAN~Parris A.
