well i would agree with ur dad i wouldnt let my daughter get it dun unless she really really wanted 2 get it dun and would pay 4 it herself, but u no that they hurt and i had it done and had 2 go 2 hospital as it got infected my skin grew over it and my tummy swelled up it was horrible an the pain well neva again i tell u, all because my clothes kept rubbin on my belly button ring, 6weeks it finally went down all i have now is a nasty scar i cant wear a bikini seriously do u want that?

Hate to say it pop but you've just laid down a challenge.
I'll go do just that to spite you and then hide it to see how long it takes you to figure it out.
Teenagers, best to give her options, my daughter had hers done, I paid for it.
Made her a deal, if she did her homework, kept her grades up, researched what was the best, safest place to have it done and how much it costs, and I would pay for it for her birthday.
Also I let her get her nosed done first and told her that everything else hinged on whether or not she could care for that, if she did then she proved to me she could care for her belly ring.
holes close up dad, you take out the ring and the hole will close.
Better than a tatt or a brand, which are for life useless you have thousands and thousands of dollars to have them removed.

If you're 16+, say OK and then do it. And then give him a picture of your unpierced bellybutton for fathers day.
Honestly, you can do with your body what you want and he will get over it eventually.
When I got my bellybutton pierced, I didn't ask my parents, I just did it. When I told my dad, he was like, "Was it peer pressure?"
Honestly. Funniest moment of my life to that point. lol Dads are hilarious.

i guess it depends on how old i am and where i live right now i am 27 and have my own house so i would tell you its my belly button if i lived under your roof at any age it is pretty much your house so i would have to respect your rules
