Yes, I have...twice! It was one of the most greatest experiences of my life! The first time was when it came to the school that I was going to at the time in 1998. Second time was when the New Jersey Devils won their second Stanley Cup, Scott Stevens brought the Stanley Cup to his home town, Kitchener. It was awsome, I actually saw the long scratch lines at the bottom base of the Cup, which is made of wood and that was when the Dallas Stars won the Cup and tried to throw it into a swimming pool that belonged to one of it's players. But they came up short when it hit the concrete!

Who could forget all those names... Gretzky, Hull, Kennedy, Lemieux, Sawchuk, Richard etc... plus touching it was special, it's kind of like a history scrapbook but etched in silver. Their were alot of vibes going through me when I touched it, can't explain why. If you haven't seen it in person, you should right away. That is the greatest trophy and the most hard fough trophy in all of sports, NO QUESTION!

You are not to touch the Stanley Cup until you win it.

I see I'm not the only reader who has touched the Holy Grail at the Hockey Hall of Fame. And Jimmy Rutherford will be bringing it home to Beeton, Ontario, Canada and I'll get another chance to see the cup up close and personal. Go Canes Go!!!!!!

Nope, the USHL's Anderson Cup is the best I've come to the NHL's Stanley Cup.

Which one. There are 3 Stanley Cups, one in the vault at the HHOF, too fragile for display, one in Rotunda at HHOF and the one that they award to the winning team. I've touched one and hoisted the other over my head and have the photos to prove it.

in the course of the lockout, I went to a lengthy sea coast Ice canine recreation and to my marvel it replaced into there!! I ignored 1/2 the game yet replaced into able to the contact and get my image keen about it. spoke of it back a pair cases at the same time as the geese received in '07. that aspect i replaced into able to actual hug it and replaced into able to the contact the Conn Smyth. Went to the 2010 draft replaced into able to make sure it alongside with all the different NHL trophies yet this time I wasn't able to the contact it. I even could confess II'vegotten fairly fortunate!!!

Yes, I got to touch it and take a few pics of my son with it after the Wings won in 1997. Someday, I would love to see my son skating with it over his head!
