Every time I shave my bikini line the area gets irritated and I start to get little bumps. Should I use Nair? Get it waxed instead? Waxing was a last resort, and I think u could still get bumps if u wax anyway-- so if u know how to prevent them when shaving that would be absolutely fantabulous.

There is this ointment called 'bikini zone', will cure those nasty red bumps fast, but in order to help prevent them, try scrubbing the area with antibacterial soap first. Those little red bumps are caused by germs being dragged accross the sensitive skin, which then gets irritated and red and itchy. Hope this helps :)

Make sure that you aren't cold when you shave. The goose bumps is what gets red and irritated. Also, shave every time you get in the tub or shower.

Waxing is best because it gets down to the root of the hair. Shaving causes way to many ingrown hairs and bumbs, that is not cute at all.

Try a razor for sensitive skin as well shaving cream for sensitive skin. Use a mild lotion which will take the irritation away.

Wax it, instead of shaving it, It last longer, leaves your skin feeling nice and soft. I never get bumps when waxing, but that's my experience. (it's painful but it works! :-S )

Try using a shave gel, and you can also buy small razors designed to shave just your bikini line, and they're extra sharp to cut the coarser hair.
