We have all been there darlin'. Some of us fag hags more than others. : ) Try establishing or maintaining a really good friendship with this guy, and remind yourself that just because he's gay doesn't mean he dislikes you as a friend, it is only that you are not a potential lover. It is very satisfying to have friendships with gay boys and a boyfriend (for a straight girl) because the gay boys will do everything you wish your boyfriend would do except gratify you, and your bf is always up for that!

It happens. A lot of time it's because women feel 'safe' around a gay guy. The safeness of not having to worry about him hit on you turns him into "all men aren't pigs" which is a really nice thing for a straight women to think about a guy.

Just be his friend. That's easier said than done when you have serious feelings. In may be in part of wanting what you can't have.

You are not in love with the guy, you like him a lot and wish you could love and be loved.....very common, happens all the time. Keep him as a good friend, you will find real love out there, and in fact, your friend may be the one who introduces you...stranger things have happened.. Good luck and cheer up.

My ex brother in law is gay and once I started crushing on him but its only because I realized we were so close and he was so cool because he was so much like a good girl friend of mine lol. I started viewing him differently more like a little sister lol as silly as it may seem and now were even closer but as good friends only!

thats tough....the best way to get over him is to express your feelings towards him, repressed feelings are bound to come out eventually ...so the sooner you tell him the better, just tell him to listen to you, tell him not to say anything, because you already know the answer....then i guess its up to you if you feel you can be friends with him or not ....its gona be hard if you are really in love with him , but if its just a crush it will eventually go away...so to conclude my opinion is that you should lay down the facts, be honest
