Ok, my best friend (and ex) is Ethan Crawford and he is totally awesome. He is a good looking, smart, and a trustworthy and open person. Since about April, Ethan and I have been in 5 arguments. He thinks he's the center of attention and gets whatever he wants. Sometimes he looks at guys, but I just ignore it.
One time I called him the Gayest Straight Guy(no offense anyone) and he actually agreed. Then other times he compares himself to other guys and says "Am I hotter than him?" or "Aren't those shoes so last gucci?!" I love him a lot and love having him around, but I dont know if he really wants to open up to me. And thinks if he's gay, I won't accept him. How do I tell him I will accept him no matter what his preference is and still have his trust? Plus, how do I make him feel comfortable talking about it and not make him feel weirded out? I really do care for this guy! I love him like a brother & friend. Also please tell me if u think he likes guys or not.

there are many different reasons and ways to find out. if you say that you two are really good friends even though you are no longer together, he will understand if you ask him. He might deny if you ask him in an uncomfortable situation. Also, many women are worried that they turn their exes gay. I haven't seen that yet even though I have been accused of being turned by my ex-girlfriend. My friends knew about me years ago in high school. If he is gay, don't think that it is your fault because it isn't. If your friendship is as good as you say, he will be fine with your question regardless and will open up to you. All guys compare themselves to each other. It is part of the male psyche. They may ask a woman or gay man who looks better between them and another. Just answer him honestly. Friends prefer honesty over just trying to make them feel better.

My suggestion, honestly. Ask him up front.

I have a friend I thought was gay, and after a little beating around the bush, I came out and asked. He was impressed and told me the truth. You can not have any relationship without being honest.

That is my two cents.
