as there is evil in the world,,,
there is also good....
whenever i see someone do something bad,
i also see someone do something good.
where there is pain,
there is also joy.
where there are tears,
there is also laughter.
where there is rain,
there is also the sun.

okay, okay...i'm not trying to sound like a POOR poet, but these are my true feelings...i know that i am a good person and get my feelings easily hurt and therefore isolate alot....it's not healthy and it's also very lonely.
we all come in contact w/good and bad on a a daily basis...

I agree with you. There just isn't any realistic hope for Mankind. If you look at the possible scenarios that can take place now at this stage of our development or infestation, you cannot honestly come up with one that doesn't involve God or an intelligent alien species coming to our rescue. We are what we are. To put it mildly, we are flawed. We are presently in the midst of the "sixth great mass extinction" of our planet. This one we are responsible for. Three species become extinct every hour, due to us. The greatest species in the history of the planet has now become it's worst nightmare. The only scenario that I can imagine where we actually extricate ourselves from the coming disasters is if the genetic engineering experiments that are taking place now work out and within a few generations, these super intelligent creatures take over and are better caretakers of the planet than us. A real stretch. It's more likely they will be even worse at it than we are, and selfishly continue the creation of even more sophisticated creatures ( the Artificial Intelligent). In this scenario it's also possible that things might turn around. Let's say within 500 years the genetically enhanced folks create the A.I. By that time they will have replaced us and may find good reasons to take care of their planet. They certainly will be much more intelligent and perhaps have the motivation to clean up our mess. If that happens and we are no longer around to mess things up, the future would look bright for the planet and the species that inherited it. They will be super human and will last almost forever. Their technology would be light years ahead of anything we could do. They would probably explore the galaxy and eventually become everything we could only dream of. Again, these are unlikely pipe dreams that probably won't occur. I guess it's more plausible that Man will continue to go down this disastrous path until his demise. Come to the end of his journey that had so much promise in the beginning. Without even anyone to comfort him or write down that he was even here in the end.

Sure there is. Some of us are good, and some of us aren't just out for ourselves. So long as there are some good people who try hard to help others, with no return, there is hope for us all. Things might get worse before they get better, but they will get better. People of good will will make sure of it.

For sure it is a lo of hope, but we have to get rid of politicians, all kinds of insitutionalize religion, that make thing worst and racist insitutionalize police squads, such the SCIS, who think that everyone is a terrorist and stereotype those who are not their color.
