I could give it try, I will send some of my samples of artwork, also since I went to school for graphic design (i.e webdesign, Illustration and so forth). So If you want to, just email your pict in jpeg format as an attachment to me. After I've sent you my samples then, and I'll draw you as one and email it back to as a jpeg attachment, ok.

She does mermaid portraits for a living in Kauai.
Expensive, but you should at least check out her website and see her paintings, they are to dive for.
