I just got a violation for asking the question "do you like muffins, and what kind". how in the hell is that a violation?

Sure, It happens all the time. There's just too much content for each and every report to be fully investigated, as it should

Someone asked what they should do with an old bible and what it was worth. I answered that they should find a reputable appraiser and provided a couple of links to websites that had similar books and did appraisals. I got a violation notice for 'advertising/promotion' since I included a couple of links to businesses.

Silly.

Anyone can hit the report button. You don't think the people at Yahoo! actually read the content of the report, do you?
They just send a "form letter" response to the account in question.

Or maybe, they just really hate muffins.
