The best place for free boxes in grocery stores, all you have to do is go to the back area of the building and there should be a trash full of boxes. If you don't want to dig through the trash, you can always ask an employee of the store and they will usually be able to find you some.

Try your local liquor store or grocery store. You can usually get very sturdy boxes from either. I had the great fortune to go into a local grocer who didn't have boxes that day but he was expecting a delivery and said he would set some aside.

Moving from home to college and college to back for 4 years, I found the best place to find free boxes is a supermarket. :)

Walmart is a good place 2 get boxes, usually if u go back 2 the Layway department they will give u a lot!

best boxes to use for moving ,are free and you can usally get them right at your local liqure store or better known in the south as a package store. they are heavy duty and free

If you live near a mini mall, go behing the stores. They have 1 big dumpster for boxes. You can pick and choose.

Go to a hospital and ask them to save boxes . They get great boxes of all sizes.

I have found big apartment complexes have people moving in and out all the time. If you check their dumpsters you should have some luck.

Liquor Stores! They have a ton of cardboard boxes, always. Just ask them.
