God is beyond human reason. He is what He is. Choosing what to be is a very human concept.
Its sort of like trying to understand the concept that God has always existed. We had a beginning so its hard to contemplate it.

Would you want to be you? Or something else? And if you are truly you, can you annswer for that question truly? As long you are truly you the very question will cease to exist, so what do you want to hear from God, unless God is not really God ,but something else. In another words there is no want/don't want while God is God, and you is really you. what else to wish for?

Well, if He's God and He can do whatever He wants, then He must want to be God since He's God.
