1: Go back to the 1980's and read some NY Times articles. Notice how they were worried about global COOLING
2: Talk to any meteorologists. Some will show you a trend of cooling and warming periods in the Earth's temperature. It is natural
3: "Scientists" Said that if the Earth warmed up just 1 degree, we're all dead. The Earth warmed up. Are we still alive? I know I am.

I've answered a number of similar questions in this forum. I will do so with less detail this time. You might browse my past answers for more specific information.
Is the Earth's atmosphere warming in the long-term? Yes.
Do human activities contribute to this trend? Probably so.
Can our activities cause catastrophic warming, endangering life as we know it? Almost certainly not.
By incorporating the phrase 'too late', I think your question assumes a level of danger simply not supported by our knowledge of fossil fuel reserves, atmospheric physics and the past behavior of the Earth's climate.
Note: I respect the concern you express. As a species, we affect the planet in many ways other than C02 emissions - perhaps in more immediate and profound ways.

a "few" starts up the motion, the movement. if we have a few, then it'll roll to something big in the future. you just have to be optimistic about it. but then again, some people don't want to be "woken-up" to what's going on. think of the civil rights... it took forever -- years before black people could have a real voice in the community and government.
