umm Jim Carrey is a living breathing human just like you i mean gosh why is it a must because jim carrey is not really worried about meeting you but i guess if u show up on his door step he would have no choice

Go up to Canada and pay him a visit. In the fat guy's documentary, you know the one titled Bowling for Columbine, he said that Canadians don't lock their doors...so there you go. Find out where he lives and pay him a friendly visit! Just make sure that he is indeed in town, because otherwise, you would have to visit him in his home wherever the hell it is that he lives.

Have your family back you up in sending him a letter requesting a visit from him for they're dying daughter/son befor they pass on from this world. That's one way, but you could jinx yourself...as I believe in karma.
(Just kidding) Probably not a good idea.
