I rebooted my computer (win xp) to find a black screen, 4 loud "beeps" then the black screen page with options : reboot in safe mode, debugging mode, last good configuration, start windows normally etc. Nothing works only hitting start windows normally but I have to hit enter fast about 5 times..I have no clue why this is happening any ideas?

You can't use the up/down arrow keys to highlight your choice? If not, then just hit the number corresponding to safe mode (3?). The four loud beeps are given by the system board; you will need to consult the manual to decode the meaning.
