There are tons of anime with no violence, nudity, etc...
you just have to know where to look. Azumanga daioh is a very good and funny anime so is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and there are other comedies.
But if you're looking for action look for Air Gear, Naruto (actually the original has some blood scense through the series but the american version is very sensored). Besides that if you do a little searching you'll be able to find a ton.
http://www.anivision.us is a resourse you can use.

My Neighbor Totoro is a fun movie to watch, along with Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away. For tv shows, there's Kimba the White Lion and Cardcaptor Sakura.

there's really a lot of dumb answers here. a lot people asume anime means porn. of course not, that's just one genre there are a lot of clean animes out there. and by the way, spirited away IS an anime. just because it's not dragon ball z doesn't mean it's not anime. try these titles: astroboy, doraemon, hamtaro. i'll add more when i remember others. i do not recommend card captor sakura, at least not the original, uncensored version. there are homosexual undertones there, nothing graphic and serious. you should probably stick to the american dubs if you really want clean because they cut a lot of stuff out. good luck!

The films of Hayao Miyazaki are pretty innocent but you should watch them first as some are violent and slightly disturbing. There are the classics like Astro Boy and Speed Racer, as well as the popular stuff- Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon. The concern (at least in my eyes) is that many series aimed at boys can be rather violent.

It isn't exactly anime, but it's Japanese. Try Spirited Away. It's a beautiful movie. Either that or Castle in the Sky would also be great for a kid. I saw both of those when I was seven (I'm 11 right now).

it really depends on the anime. Stuff like Fruits Basket doesn't really have violence like blood spilling! But most r like for teens! Try CardCaptor Sakura or Pokemon! Those should be fine
